Interacts with production personnel at all levels to assure compliance with company, customer, and government specifications. Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor and inspect product and processing steps to ensure production to designed quality standards. Performs reviews of product for compliance with stated requirements. Check for defects in product and perform measurements to support that standards are met. Calculate pieces per pounds per pallet or combo. Return inspected product to the production line upon completion of required product verification checks. In between product verification checks technician must walk through production area(s) to monitor for GMP or other potential product handling violations, and communicate any issues or findings to their supervisor. Identify returned product or product on hold for analysis. Record all findings on the appropriate document to support product's consistency with company, customer and government specifications. Provide evidence of findings on the product as instructed. Notify the production management when specific action levels are met. Performs other duties as assigned. Use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines of the Company. Qualifications: (Required/Desired) Skills & knowledge needed for the effective performance of essential job functions: Good math skills. To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors. Responsibilities Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned. Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards. Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments. Complete a short form in an app. Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory. Requirements (to be considered you must have the following): Computer with an internet connection Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas) Smartphone (Android or iPhone) Printer Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license Pay and Hours This is a 1099 position.
