Quarryville history
Quarryville company history timeline
Inspired by God to care for those who had faithfully served the Lord, the Reverend Doctor Franklin S. Dyrness opened Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community in 1948 on the property next to his home and the church he pastored in southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
The opening of the Long Building in 1949 was just the beginning.
From their sanctuary came the lovely stained glass windows used in our annex which was dedicated on October 6, 1974.
The cottage community of Great Rock was started in 2010 and continues to the present.
