As part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for supporting production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and participation in the startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment.

Mechanical Troubleshooting & Repair - Diagnose and repair compressors, valves, pumps, evaporators, piping, and freezer components to restore reliable cooling and freezing capability.
Electrical Diagnostics & Repair - Apply electrical principles across 110-480V 3-phase systems, microprocessors, relays, sensors, and wiring to identify and resolve electrical issues affecting refrigeration and freezer equipment.
Preventive Maintenance & Reliability Tasks - Inspect equipment using gauges, sight, sound, and system data; maintain logs; and execute PM tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Refrigeration Tech ensures the safe and appropriate operation of the utility systems and equipment groups that include but are not limited to: Hot Water/Boiler and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration system, HVAC, chilled water, compressed air and sure suppression systems.
General duties include, but are not limited to troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery, electrical/mechanical equipment and computerized systems such as boilers, compressors, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, conveyor systems and motors in accordance to diagrams, blue prints, operating manuals or manufacturer's specifications. The position is a member of the P.S.M
Licensed and /or certified in anhydrous ammonia refrigeration level 1 operational technician.
Operates and maintains all components and equipment of the utility systems that includes but is not limited to anhydrous ammonia systems and boiler water systems.
Confers with operators and observes tests, evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunctions.
Must become proficient in knowledge and understanding of the 16 elements of the P.S.M. program.
Maintains daily log of repairs and submits for record.
Basic computer skills to perform maintenance and repair on computer-controlled machinery.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and contractors.
Submits Preventative Maintenance, calibration, verification, and other such documentation in a timely manner.
Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Refrigeration Tech ensures the safe and appropriate operation of the utility systems and equipment groups that include but are not limited to: Hot Water/Boiler and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration system, HVAC, chilled water, compressed air and sure suppression systems.
General duties include, but are not limited to troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery, electrical/mechanical equipment and computerized systems such as boilers, compressors, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, conveyor systems and motors in accordance to diagrams, blue prints, operating manuals or manufacturer's specifications. The position is a member of the P.S.M
Licensed and /or certified in anhydrous ammonia refrigeration level 1 operational technician.
Operates and maintains all components and equipment of the utility systems that includes but is not limited to anhydrous ammonia systems and boiler water systems.
Confers with operators and observes tests, evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunctions.
Must become proficient in knowledge and understanding of the 16 elements of the P.S.M. program.
Maintains daily log of repairs and submits for record.
Basic computer skills to perform maintenance and repair on computer-controlled machinery.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and contractors.
Submits Preventative Maintenance, calibration, verification, and other such documentation in a timely manner.
Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.
