• Maintain the registration desk, answer phone lines, and schedule appointments

The Compliance Coordinator Gaming Registration Unit (GRU) is responsible for assisting the Compliance Department with Nevada Gaming Control Board Employee Registration.
Essential Job Functions:



Prepare employee gaming registration renewals and terminations for Nevada region employees. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly deliverables based on Gaming Control Board Regulation Requirements related to the employee gaming registration. Responsible for updating the Gaming Registration Unit's electronic tracking schedules for the Nevada Region to ensure employees required to maintain a registration do not work with an expired registration. Assist the Compliance Department with the enforcement and tracking of Gaming Registration Unit Policies. Report to the Regulatory Compliance Officer regarding status of the employee gaming registration progress. Investigate and contact departments for missing documentation in regard to employee gaming registration. The Compliance Coordinator assists Internal Audit with their Gaming Registration Unit audit. This may include employee interviews and providing audit documentation among other audit procedures. Complete and submit monthly reports to the Employee Registration Unit by the deadline set by Nevada Gaming Control Board. Maintain a detailed current set of electronic records and files. Other duties as assigned.

Necessary Attributes/Characteristics:

Must be detail oriented and accurate. Must be a team player and work well in a small group.

Education/Experience:

Entry level position. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficient skill with personal computer software packages to include Microsoft Excel and Word. Must be highly organized and possess the ability to handle multiple properties in a fast-paced environment. Possess excellent communication skills, oral and written.

Lakeview Center is best known for its caring, compassionate treatment for people with mental health issues, drug and alcohol dependencies, or intellectual disabilities. The breadth and depth of these services are the most comprehensive in the region. They range from inpatient and residential treatment to a gamut of outpatient programs including trauma services, psychiatry, counseling, day treatment, and intensive, round-the-clock outpatient services to help people with severe mental illnesses safely remain in the community. We reach people of all ages from babies and children to adolescents and adults. In all, we offer more than 60 programs and services for the people of Northwest Florida.

This position is responsible for registration of new and established clients. Ensure information is entered into the Electronic Heath Record (EHR). Position is responsible for verifying benefit coverage, initial eligibility and obtaining authorizations required to support billing.

Assignments/tasks are expected to be executed with considerable independence and maintain compliance with established facility policies and procedures, contract requirements, organization bylaws, and federal and state regulations/laws.
Requirements

Associate degree within area of responsibility (In lieu of degree, High School or GED required with two (2) years of directly applicable experience may substitute for associate degree).

Two (2) years of experience in Business Office, Medical office, or Call Center.

Must have the ability to work independently with good decision-making skills.

Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.

Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.

Must be extremely detail oriented with a high level of accuracy while demonstrating the ability to resist distractions.

Position requires a friendly, confident, and knowledgeable phone presence.
