What a typical day looks like:
Ability to develop layouts in AutoCAD
Prepare the BRD (Business Requirements Document), which details the requirements and processes needed for new system integrations.
Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product
Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process
High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues
Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.
Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters
Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
Trouble shoot process related issues.
Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements.
Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.
Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Review processing methods.
Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.
Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.

Job Description
The reliability engineer plays a key role in reducing equipment failures and optimizing asset performance by establishing and utilizing a robust PM strategy and plant item reliability framework. Their primary job responsibilities include:
Failure Analysis & Problem Solving: Analyze equipment history and perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify and eliminate recurring issues.
Maintenance Program Management: Define, develop, and refine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs based on reliability analysis and cost/benefit assessments.
Asset Management Strategy: Ensure assets have a defined Asset Strategy with associated job plans (proactive and reactive), adjusting strategies based on failure data analysis.
New Installation Review & Reliability Integration: Participate in the approval process for new installations to ensure maintainability and reliability are considered from the outset, as well as act as a technical resource for others and develop/manage CBM processes, including procedures for verification.
Condition Monitoring & Data Utilization: Work with condition monitoring personnel and incorporate this information into decision-making processes, such as shutdown planning. In addition, alert stores to changes in stocking levels based on task frequency and analyze spares usage and failure data for proper stocking level determination.
Statistical Analysis & Equipment Improvement: Perform statistical analysis on failure and work order data to guide Asset Strategy adjustments, develop failure codes for the work order system, and make specific recommendations for improving machinery performance and reliability based on data analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field required.
CMPR Certification preferred.
Demonstrated strengths in leadership and working with a team.
Strong communication, organization, multi-tasking, and employee relations skills.

Pay Rate: $27.80 - $37.13. Starting pay with opportunities to progress, or commensurate with relevant experience
Duties for mechanical reliability include, but are not restricted to, replacing valves & gaskets, basic welding, repacking pumps & valves, forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations, cylinder repair, pump repair & replacement, repair of rotating assemblies, roll repair and replacements, motor replacements, repair of mechanical drive systems, gear reducers, seals, fans, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and rigging.

Duties for mechanical reliability include, but are not restricted to, replacing valves & gaskets, basic welding, repacking pumps & valves, forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations, cylinder repair, pump repair & replacement, repair of rotating assemblies, roll repair and replacements, motor replacements, repair of mechanical drive systems, gear reducers, seals, fans, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication and rigging.

Job Description
The reliability team ensures the site does the right work over a 3-to-5-year horizon. This work supports the maintenance planning and execution teams.
This role is involved in our Condition Monitoring, Defect Elimination, and Machine Health programs within our Surface Maintenance Department. It focuses on heavy equipment used in open pit mining including rigid frame haul trucks, hydraulic mining excavators and shovels, pedestal/platform drills and boom drills, and support equipment such as track dozers, motor graders, and front-end loaders.
This role is, in a daily basis to:
* Conduct Non-Destructive Testing Such Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Thermography.
* Used Oil Sample registration, interpreting the analysis, and communicating to the maintenance team, to include work order creation in the CMMS.
* Participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) to determine contributing factors and recommend improvements. Includes attending or conducting component teardowns to facilitate RCFA.
Qualifications
* Engineering qualification (post-secondary education earned after high school offered by technological institutions) with certification focused on Non-Destructive Testing such Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Thermography; or equivalent three years industry experience and certification focused in the reliability area of mobile equipment and Non-Destructive Testing such Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Thermography.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, or equivalent, for the purpose of report writing, presenting, and communicating.
