Needed immediately: A Senior Design Engineer near the Tifton, GA general area. Required:
BS degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
Minimum 7 years engineering & design experience in aerospace industry.
Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD design tools and principals
Self-motivated with ability to handle assignments under minimum supervision.
Knowledge of Structural analysis.
Familiarity with other engineering principles and other engineering fields.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Require Knowledge and experience with products that are required to meet FAA standards.
Essential project management skills, including project planning and budget evaluations.
Job Details:
SolidWorks 3D CAD (Min. V.2022 - Current) - Certified Professional preferred
Designs Aircraft Structural components - Primary and Secondary Structure
Must have experience with Engineering Change Processes such as Drawing Change Request, Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, etc.
Must have a complete understanding of ASME Y14.5 2009 and possesses a working knowledge in the use of GD&T
Interfaces with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
