VDC PROJECT ENGINEER The VDC Project Engineer supports the execution of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) activities across assigned projects. Responsibilities * Develop detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly. * Interface with production operators and technicians to establish manufacturing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and product qualification. * Interpret technical documentation related to product manufacturing and acceptability, such as schematics, engineering drawings, customer-controlled specifications, and military/industry standards. * Support the implementation of all key matrices by recording, summarizing, and presenting data/information to department operations. * Monitor trends in quality data, execute corrective actions, and identify continual improvement opportunities in response to product and process failures. * Drive the optimization of process efficiency and effectiveness through collaboration with production operators, supervisors, and technicians by utilizing effective root cause and corrective action analysis. Essential Skills * Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline preferred. * 1+ years of experience within a manufacturing engineering-related role. * Proficiency in manufacturing engineering. * Expertise in root cause analysis and process improvement. * Experience in lean manufacturing. * Solidworks proficiency. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Continuous improvement experience. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Work Environment You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and work within a team of engineers and technicians.
