Design of gusset plates and verification of local effects in frame members. Analysis of relevant project documents to ensure compliance with project specific design requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one preferred. Understanding of current building codes and standards, engineering fundamentals, and structural load paths. Familiarity with seismic and structural steel design preferred. The Development Engineer will be responsible for the design and engineering of utility scale solar PV and energy storage projects in early and mid-stage development.
