This position plays a key role in maintaining the quality of public infrastructure by inspecting private developer-built construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and City engineering requirements. The Engineering Technician III performs a combination of office and field work, including inspection and documentation of water, sewer, storm and roadway infrastructure, right of way permitting inspections, assisting with minor development plan reviews, and assisting with updates to the Development Guideline details using AutoCAD.
