    We are hiring a freelance Sourcing Specialist for a top entertainment company in Kissimmee. This will be a 4 month freelance position and operates on a hybrid schedule, Monday - Thursday in office and remote Fridays. Pay Rate: $21-$25/HR Responsibilities: Assist/Manage the merchandise sourcing & production of select product categories in partnership with the Sourcing Manager. Partner on vendor strategy, product costing/placement, manage vendor communication and production management related to designated product categories Responsible for ensuring products meet established standards for safety and quality including monitoring quarterly Product Review Requests (PRRs) with product integrity partners Manage Development Tracking Reports (DTRS), sample tracking and approval processes throughout each development season Manage the workflow for data entry task Supplier Set Ups, price changes, financial roadmaps, and invoicing, and all Product Lifecycle Management data entry Contact vendors to follow-up and verify the accuracy of provided data, resolve routine issues and ensure vendor alignment with company processes and procedures Follow up with vendor communication regarding any outstanding samples (Approval, PP/TOP, etc.) Liaise with vendors and ticket/label suppliers to ensure company guidelines are followed to avoid late deliveries and charge backs due to non-compliance Ensure all items are completed within PLM system to ensure on-time PO issuance Schedule and participate Production Handoff to the Responsible Sourcing and Production team at the end of each costing season Prepare standard any ad-hoc reports as requested (Time and Action Calendars, production timelines, status updates, etc.) Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners Attend weekly cross-functional meetings and quarterly product line review meetings to understand key sourcing issues and action items Communicate production status to global and regional partners during weekly cross-functional meetings as required Required Qualifications: 1+ years related experience, preferably in specialty retail or consumer products Associate degree or Technical Degree in Merchandising/Product Development/Design, Business or Supply Chain ideal Previous use in a Product lifecycle Management system a must. About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Chemist with strong expertise in coatings and formulation science. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, optimizing antimicrobial and antifouling coatings and integrating novel nanomaterial-based products into coatings. This position requires hands-on laboratory work, strong analytical skills, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing. This position reports to the VP of Engineering. Special Skills: • Knowledge in materials application, heat treat, analysis, etc. • Experience in design projects with multiple components & assemblies PURPOSE OF POSITION: Support Knight's Armament Company by designing firearms; ammunition handling systems and firearm accessories with the intent on providing new products for KAC. Perform professional engineering and related administrative work involving research, design, construction and related activities of a subject matter area specific to the practice of engineering for Knight Enterprises Management, LLC. Expected to devise new approaches to problems encountered & use a broad knowledge of precedents of the engineering discipline. DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: • Develop design concepts on 3-D CAD system (SolidWorks). • Produce drawings and models to ANSI-Y-14.5 format-up to and including level III. • Assist in the development of products. Chair and participate in design reviews, assuring that products meet the overall design objectives, are producible, have no safety flaws, and are saleable • Solicit input of perceived/actual needs/ideas for developing new product/program. • Develops and creates virtual models to analyze designs using finite element analysis or dynamic simulation • Oversee the manufacturing of prototypes, managing the overall project so that all required prototype components are available to meet project schedules • Work may include being a project manager, design lead or participate as a team member • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment, effectively prioritize, and execute tasks while under pressure • Individual projects and priorities and deadlines are established by the employee in consultation with the supervisor. Utilize performance management principles and techniques to fully maximize productivity. • Develop instructions and procedures for R&D technical personnel. Train others in processes and procedures as needed • Record or direct the recording of required data from measurements and observations as well as producing clear, concise reports when required • Develop, coordinate and conduct testing procedures & testing to validate concepts • Conducts research and economic analysis • Identify opportunities for improvement of established programs. • Will be expected to independently evaluate, select, and adapt situations, and modify techniques, procedures and criteria to solve problems encountered. • Plans, schedules, conducts/coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work.
