The office provides information and analyses to support decision- making; responds to data and information requests from internal and external constituents; promotes institutional effectiveness practices and effective data management processes through education and collaboration; and facilitates efforts within the campus community to improve the student experience. Job Description The candidate should have a BS/MS degree in biological sciences with substantial training in cell biology and/or immunology. The individual will be actively involved in combination of in vivo work in vivarium and in vitro/ex vivo laboratory work. Hands-on experience (3-5 years) with animal models of inflammation/immune modulation is required. Knowledge of mouse models of arthritis a plus. Experience with ELISA, and immunoassays assay are desired. The successful candidate will also have strong quantitative skills, be familiar with laboratory instrumentation, data and statistics software (PRISM) spreadsheet (excel) management. The individual should have good organizational skills and the ability to manage his/her workload and prioritize tasks. Proven ability to work well in a highly matrixed, interactive environment is critical. Successful candidate should be detailed-orientated and a quick learner. Essential functions also include the demonstration of oral, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to document and effectively communicate interpretation of data and results.
