As a member of our U.S. based team, you'll be responsible for providing equity research coverage in digital assets and emerging financial infrastructure companies through company reports, thematic work and timely event driven analysis. The analysis will be based on Bloomberg's data sets, Bloomberg Intelligence data and analysis, as well as company calls and announcements.
We'll trust you to:
Work closely with our regional and distributed team of analysts located in Asia, Europe and the U.S.
Monitor and interpret major company developments and identify macro themes and trends affecting these industries
Manage earnings cycle, including previews, reviews and maintaining earnings models fueled by live Bloomberg data
Collaborate with other research product teams, including Market Structure, Policy, Credit and Litigation for company specific and thematic analysis
Interact with investors, industry contacts, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies
Work with Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies
Build and manage relationships with internal departments and external market professionals to grow a franchise and develop an ecosystem
You'll need to have:
5+ years experience in Equity Research, specializing in Digital Asset Companies, Financials or Technology companies in the U.S.
Knowledge of crypto/blockchain, exchanges, digital assets, fintech, data center infrastructure or technology is preferred
Sell-side or buy-side Research Analysis experience preferred
Experience interpreting financial statements and performing quantitative financial analysis
Knowledge of sophisticated concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting
Strong primary research and writing skills
Good verbal communication and presentation skills
Self-starter, entrepreneurial thinker and collaborative team player
Strong organizational skills and capable of handling multiple projects
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The Opportunity
Biohub is seeking a skilled and collaborative Research Associate to support the development and operation an Multiomics and Immune Profiling Lab (MIP Lab) at Yale University (in Biohub Yale Annex). Responsibilities include managing human samples, processing PBMCs, and focusing on immunology, flow cytometry, and cell-based assays and technologies. The person will implement functional cell-based and immunological assays, perform cell sorting and flow cytometry analysis in support of large-scale collaborative projects. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about immunological technologies and cell-based assays and thrives in a team-oriented, high-throughput environment.
The mission of Biohub-a collaborative effort between CZI, Yale, Columbia, and Rockefeller Universities-is to harness the human immune system for early disease detection and prevention. We are developing cutting-edge approaches to decode immune cell trafficking and sensing, engineer immune cells, and decipher the disease sensing code of immune cells throughout the body. The MIP Lab will implement and develop cutting-edge immune monitoring, profiling, and engineering technologies to support the mission of the Biohub and its Annex at Yale. What You'll Do
Maintain and operate cell sorter and spectral flow cytometers.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
7-12+ years of experience in fundamental credit research with exposure to quantitative methods; hedge fund or credit-focused buy-side experience preferred.

Strong foundation in corporate finance, credit valuation, and capital structure analysis.
Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB for modelling, statistical analysis, and data manipulation.
