Qualifications: Required: Education: Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy program required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care setting preferred. Licensure/Certification: Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) It is strongly encouraged that CRT therapists advance to RRT within 2 years of employment. Maintains current licensure by the State of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist. Maintains current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications once obtained. New hires are required to obtain BLS prior to providing direct care to patients. Additional certifications as listed are required within 1 year of employment Preferred: Experience: Previous neonatal & pediatric experience preferred.
