**Position Overview**
An established manufacturing site is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support the final-phase testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment on the assembly line. The role is essential for maintaining machine quality and operational functionality before shipment, emphasizing diagnostic skills, electrical testing, and documentation accuracy.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electromechanical equipment at the end of the manufacturing process.
+ Conduct basic electrical testing, including measuring voltage, resistance, and continuity, and perform isolation testing on sensitive equipment.
+ Execute automated test scripts and run queries via command line interfaces.
+ Maintain and update existing test and troubleshooting documentation to ensure quality standards.
+ Interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams for effective problem resolution.
+ Analyze CAN network data to assist in system diagnostics.
+ Identify and report both known and new technical issues with high attention to detail.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with electromechanical system assembly, testing, or troubleshooting.
+ Strong triage and troubleshooting skills in a production environment.
+ Proficient in electrical testing and the use of relevant hand tools.
+ Experience with CAN bus diagnostic tools and data logging systems.
+ Familiarity with using command line interfaces for test automation and querying.
+ Strong attention to detail, especially in technical documentation and issue reporting.

**Shift:** Day Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform PCBA inspection for defect detection on Through-Hole and Mechanical Parts based on IPC-A-610 and Customer Requirements.
+ Review manufacturing process instructions, product documentation, and implement deviations as needed.
+ Report non-conformances and defects during manufacturing using the DGS system (Venture's MES System).
+ Conduct First Article Inspection for Through-Hole and Mechanical Parts, verifying component polarity, markings, orientation, height, and placement.
+ Verify loaded components on printed circuit boards prior to soldering and provide feedback for process improvements to Engineering teams.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum two years of inspection experience following IPC-A-610 standards for surface mount and through-hole technology.
+ Ability to read and interpret manufacturing work instructions and engineering drawings.
+ Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
