This role is a temporary position through March of 2026 with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service. This position involves servicing portable restrooms, completing deliveries and pick-ups of restrooms, and interacting with customers. This role requires pushing, pulling, and maneuvering portable restrooms weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as safe and efficient driving across multiple stops per day. Key Responsibilities Execute assigned daily jobs, ensuring all services are completed safely and on time. Clean portable restrooms according to quality and sanitation standards. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure proper operation and safety. Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients onsite. Perform other related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Valid Drivers License. Clean driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing (in accordance with federal DOT regulations). Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the day. Positive attitude, dependable, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. Familiarity with Mason County and surrounding areas is an asset, but training will be provided. Work Environment & Schedule This position is a route driving role based out of our Shelton yard. Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30am to 7:00am, depending on the season. Technical Services Driver Hourly Location: Seattle, WA Retention Bonus: Class A CDL $4000 or Class B CDL $3000 As the Technical Services Driver you will be responsible for driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required. These routes are typically shorter with fewer stops per run, home most evenings. Occasional overnights include per diem. Arcwood provides all equipment and trucks. Essential Functions & Requirements: Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services. Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order. Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material. Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials. Maintains a logbook for D.O.T. compliance. Assists customers on troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns. Acts as Company Representative with contacts.
