As an Fabrication Technician, a typical day for you might include:
Inspection of materials and/or parts for conformance with Schneider Electric and industry procedures, specifications and quality standards.
Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
Assisting in the design and fabrication of prototypes, products and product enhancements.
Conducts quality inspections of finished product, parts, units, or processes to ensure quality standards are met. Evaluates and initiates resolution of non-conformance of material and/or product.
Perform work with a focus on safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
Utilize a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to perform your tasks.
Setting up metalwork machinery including waterjet, turret punch, drill presses, brakes, shears.
Fabricating and constructing metal and copper components.
Grinding and finishing completed products.

What qualifications will make you successful? 3-5 years relevant sales experience preferred.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or Communications is preferred.
