About the Role

The Marcus Institute for Brain Health (MIBH) currently seeks a full-time licensed Neuropsychologist who will work within the MIBH interdisciplinary team. The responsibilities of this position focus on direct patient care.The Neuropsychologist will serve as an independent healthcare provider of clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology with specialized knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with mild to moderate TBI and behavioral health comorbidities. The rehabilitation neuropsychologist will use psychological, neurological, cognitive, behavioral, and physiological principles, techniques, and tests to evaluate patients' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional strengths and weaknesses and their relationship to normal and abnormal central nervous system functioning. These data will be utilized for differential diagnosis, treatment planning, and team consultation and collaboration. In addition, the neuropsychologist will provide interventions to assist the patients with adapting and adjusting.:o Reviewing medical records in preparation for assessment and treatmento Providing comprehensive assessment relevant to the patient's presenting concerns and treatment goals.o Interpreting neuropsychological and psychological data within the context of complex medical historieso Communicating assessment results verbally and in writing to the patient and family and to a multi-disciplinary team of providers
