Reality Labs at Meta is seeking Research Scientists with experience in product-focused machine learning and signal processing research to advance our pioneering work in neuromotor interfaces, which has grown out of the acquisition of CTRL-labs. We're building a practical interface drawing on the rich neuromotor signals that can be measured non-invasively via surface electromyography (EMG) with single motor neuron resolution. This technology could become one of the main pillars for interaction with virtual and augmented worlds.We are a multi-disciplinary team of researchers investigating the nature of human neuromotor signals, developing novel signal processing and machine learning methods to infer a user's intent, and creating novel interaction techniques and user experiences. Help us unleash human potential by removing the bottlenecks between user intent and action.
**Required Skills:**
Research Scientist - CTRL Labs Responsibilities:
1. Research and develop Deep Learning or other computational models
2. Design methods, tools and infrastructure to analyze and leverage rich multimodal data sets
3. Set technical direction for a project of 2-3 researchers and engineers
4. Help transition and deliver our work from research into product
5. Adapt standard machine learning methods to best leverage modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU)

Funding should be sought from public and private sponsors for direct problem solving and solution delivery. Summary:

Conduct compatibility studies using stability testing and chromatographic techniques.
Develop and optimize formulations to ensure stability and manufacturability.
Evaluate and select appropriate pharmaceutical API and excipients based on functionality, compatibility, and regulatory status.
Provide formulation support to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
Prepare formulation development reports and technical documentation to support 503B compliance.
Provide technical support during regulatory inspections as needed.
Support investigations and provide formulation input for deviations and change controls.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field-or equivalent experience

Overview and Responsibilities The Nath Lab is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team as a Postdoctoral Scientist or Assistant Staff Scientist. Our research focuses on unraveling the genetic mechanisms underlying lupus, a complex autoimmune disease. This position requires expertise in analyzing large-scale genetic and genomic data. The successful candidate will have access to excellent resources to address critical questions in the genetics and genomics of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Building on our lab s success in identifying genes and genetic variants associated with lupus susceptibility through genome-wide association studies (GWAS), we are now investigating the functional effects of these variants. This includes utilizing patient-derived primary immune cells and tissues as well as cell line models.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze human genetic and genomic data, including GWAS and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
Develop and apply computational methods to interpret various types of biological data.
Integrate GWAS summary results with other data types (e.g., eQTL, mQTL, and functional genomic annotations) to identify novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
Contribute to the understanding of the functional consequences of lupus-associated genetic variants.
Desired Skills and Experience
Proficiency in statistical genetics, bioinformatics, and computational biology.

Summary of Job Duties:The School of Human Environmental Sciences has a nutrition program in which two postdoctoral research associate positions will be administered. These positions are located in Dr. Sabrina Trudo's lab in the Biomass building and the postdoctoral fellows will be housed at the Microbiome and Metabolism Research Unit in Little Rock, AR as a collaborative effort to work on USDA-ARS projects. The qualified candidates will provide research support to projects to investigate the impact of the various early life factors on health leveraging clinical studies, and animal and in vitro cell culture models. The positions involve coordinating and conducting studies as well as analysis of samples taken from clinical studies, rodents, cells, and foods. This also involves human study support (collection and analysis of samples, etc.)

Position Summary
The role of the Clinical Laboratory Scientist I (CLSI) reports to the assigned Laboratory Supervisor in direct partnership with the Laboratory Director. This position is responsible for performing routine and special testing in different areas of the laboratory. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, quality control procedures, troubleshooting and documentation per established guideline and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position will assist with clerical and specimen-processing duties as needed.
Essential Position Responsibilities
* Perform CLIA waived and non-waived testing according to approved procedures and processes.
* Perform, verify, and report laboratory results in accordance to established guidelines.
* Identify issues that may adversely affect assay performance or patient results and perform corrective action including notification of appropriate laboratory personnel.
* Perform analyzer maintenance, calibration, and quality control procedures.
* Perform proficiency testing as needed for regulatory compliance.
* Maintain inventory for department.
* Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
* Assist in validation of new equipment.
* Partner with educator to train students and new employees.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or Chemical Science, required.
* Licensure and Certifications: Eligible to test for ASCP, AMT or equivalent certification and must pass within one year of hire or transfer date. Current qualifications with CLIA'88 regulations, required.
* Experience: 1-year medical laboratory experience, preferred.
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position will be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
