A Research Scientist is a full-time contract researcher who will investigate one or more of the priority areas of the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute (OCII) as they relate to cyber research, technology, and education for the majority of their time and effort. These areas are cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, smart environments, AI, autonomy, robotics, supply chain manufacturing, and human-machine teaming. Funding should be sought from public and private sponsors for direct problem solving and solution delivery. Research should be applied and use-inspired, with deliverables aligned with external sponsor needs. A portion of time and effort is expected to include: (1) moving research into the OCII educational and training programs, (2) participating in the administration of educational or business expectations, (3) reporting of OCII activities to stakeholders, and (4) supporting the growth of OCII in priority areas and new areas that are introduced as OCII expands. The Medical Toxicologist at CTEH provides support in the areas of litigation support, occupational health, toxicology, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, and emergency response and may participate as a member of an emergency response team, either in person or remotely. Overview and Responsibilities The Nath Lab is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team as a Postdoctoral Scientist or Assistant Staff Scientist. Our research focuses on unraveling the genetic mechanisms underlying lupus, a complex autoimmune disease. This position requires expertise in analyzing large-scale genetic and genomic data. The successful candidate will have access to excellent resources to address critical questions in the genetics and genomics of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position will be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) works under general supervision to perform both CLIA waived and non-waived laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment. Experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Associates or Bachelor Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology) or equivalent required. This position is in a busy multispecialty laboratory performing tests in hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis. The CLS will also help with specimen processing and phlebotomy as needed. Clinic hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm with CLS coverage starting at 6am to perform maintenance and quality control. No nights, weekends or major holidays.
