LOCATION: Bloomington, IN (Must reside w/in 75 miles) Anticipated # of Tests/Year: 15-20 JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for sample collection from athletes. Tasks performed by the Doping Control Officer (DCO) include preparation for, execution of and post-collection administration as it relates to Doping Control both at events and in the out-of-competition setting. DCOs are the field facing representatives of USADA. The primary objective of the DCO is to conduct Doping Control throughout the United States, under direction of the Doping Control Operations team, for Olympic, Paralympic, and Client Services testing teams, in support of USADA's mission and vision. The DCO works with the HQ team to uphold USADA's goals of creating and maintaining a fair and healthy environment for all athletes. The role will include both local and national travel to conduct Doping Control assignments. The following job expectations, responsibilities, and qualifications apply to both the DCO I and DCO II positions, however, in order to qualify for a DCO II level, one must have a valid phlebotomy credential in good standing, as further outlined below. A DCO II is able to serve as a doping control officer that can draw blood.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct sample collection sessions in support of the testing programs for the Olympic/Paralympic, and Client Services testing teams, as well as on behalf of other agencies, when requested by USADA.
Accept, plan and manage doping control assignments, in accordance with the minimum requirements of the WADA/International Standards, and any minimum criteria established by USADA.
Execute logistics aspects as they relate to the doping control process to facilitate successful completion of missions.
Conduct doping control, including processing of Samples, in accordance with USADA's protocols and procedures, and in accordance with the WADA Code/International Standards.
Recruit and onboard independent contractors to serve in the capacity of a Chaperone*. *(

COMPENSATION & TIME COMMITMENT:
Compensation is on a per-test basis(piece rate) for out-of-competition (OOC) missions, with compensation typically ranging from $130 to $180 per test dependent on the test parameters. OOC test sessions can vary in length, but generally take 1 to 2 hours for successful completion.
In Competition (event) testing is paid at a daily flat rate, typically at $250 per day.
Onboarding is anticipated to begin in December/January with a more significant time commitment up front for training. Expect a time commitment of 24-30 hours of time during the first 60 days of onboarding. After that it should only be 2-3 hours of training and updates per quarter, plus the necessary time to complete test assignments.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company's operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. Scheduling Expectations
The scheduling parameters and expectations for a flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a flex:
You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week's schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. GENERAL SUMMARY
The Public Safety Officer/security personnel are responsible for (1) compliance with security access procedures at all assigned areas providing access to the secure area of the airport, (2) enforcement of TSA security regulations specifically related to 49CFR Part 1520,1540, 1542, and airport regulations along with (3) performing duties assigned by the Public Safety Officer Manager, Public Safety Officer Lead, or designee.
The Indianapolis International Airport is locally and nationally recognized for its sustained commitment to the highest level of customer service. The duties of these positions will include assisting and communicating with travelers and guests in circumstances that transcend traditional public safety roles and may be more focused on customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Maintain compliance with all site policies, procedures, and directives
* Assess alarms, investigate, and report suspicious activities and/or circumstances
* Assign or conduct Airport Workers Screening checks and Insider Threat patrols
* Identify safety and/or fire hazards and make recommendations for improvement
* Report degradation, deficiencies, and accidents in accordance with current procedures and take appropriate corrective actions as directed by IAA Public Safety Supervision
* Control access of personnel, vehicles and materials into perimeter roadway area and maintain appropriate log.
* Perform protected vital area and fire watch patrols
* Perform compensatory postings and escort duties as directed by regulations set forth by the TSA, and IAA Public Safety Supervision and in accordance with current procedures and directives.
* Respond to contingency events in accordance with appropriate procedures and as directed by IAA Public Safety Supervision according to the Airport Emergency Plan (security and weather).
* Participate in security drills, practical exercises and required training programs as directed
* Maintain periodic qualification of academic requirements including (Access authorization, Airport Emergency Plan, Airfield Operation Area driving certification, etc.)
* Maintain all required qualifications for site access
* Provide courteous service, directions, and information to the public and others as necessary
* Observe for security violations, unusual situations, hazardous conditions and notify law enforcement regarding threats
* Assist with traffic congestion in and around the airport terminal/functions
* Ability to recognize hazardous or dangerous items (weapons, explosives, VBIED) during vehicle inspections.
* Deter security breaches while guarding gates or exit lanes.
* Understand Airport escort rules and regulations
* Ability to recognize unusual behavior

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Required Licenses and Conditions
