Role Description

Job Duties:
* Perform highly skilled and complex diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of multiple makes and models of heavy-duty trucks, and road construction and maintenance equipment containing multiple, computerized systems/sensors, as well as medium and lightweight vehicles, and other motorized equipment.
* Fabricate and repair equipment and parts by using a variety of welders, welding materials, and methods to adapt incompatible parts, replace unavailable parts, secure attachments, and repair damage.
* Calibrate various systems on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment that distribute various materials as they pertain to road and weather conditions and allow operators to drive the vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Inspect new equipment to ensure that it meets specifications and set up new equipment to ensure it is road-ready.
* Evaluate equipment to identify adjustments needed to accommodate auxiliary attachments, equipment, and operating systems. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical, electrical, computer, and hydraulic system components to restore equipment to a state of safe and operational state.
* Maintain hydraulics systems; install and monitor electrical systems; repair steering systems; repair suspension systems, brake systems, drive trains, and fuel systems, and repair/overhaul and/or replace diesel and/or gasoline engines.
* Perform varied snow removal tasks; preventative maintenance on equipment; and assist in general upkeep and maintenance of assigned equipment.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Practical work experience performing automotive/diesel maintenance and repair, including use of computerized diagnostic instruments and equipment OR post-high school vocational or technical coursework in automotive/diesel mechanics, including instruction in computerized diagnostic equipment and in automotive/diesel mechanical maintenance and repair practices, equipment, and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications: A degree in Automotive Diesel Mechanics, with experience in the repair of trucks or heavy equipment. Experience in welding and fabrication. Basic computer experience. Possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of hire through our in-house CDL training program. Costs to obtain the permit will be covered by the department.
Other: A Valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with O Restriction and tanker endorsement is required within 90 days of hire through our in-house CDL training program. Costs to obtain the permit will be paid for by the Department. Must be able to be placed on-call and respond accordingly during non-scheduled work hours including holidays and weekends for emergencies and special events. Work is performed in adverse weather conditions and during traffic management activities and traffic safety incidents including snow removal, sanding, and de-icing. Regular and reliable attendance is also required. Must be able to report to work for snow and other highway emergencies within 40 minutes under normal driving conditions and be placed in an "on-call" status.

Position Summary
The Account Manager plays a key role in managing and retaining a portfolio of Accident & Health (A&H) clients, including employer groups, brokers, and distribution partners. This position ensures exceptional service delivery throughout the policy lifecycle-supporting onboarding, renewal strategy, product education, and ongoing relationship management. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, deep knowledge of A&H products, and the ability to collaborate across underwriting, claims, operations, and sales teams.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned A&H clients and brokers.
* Advise partners how to best utilize Arch products and how to position within their portfolios.
* Demonstrate how to effectively maximize Arch technology and further educate on Arch products and our value proposition.
* Track, monitor and report on various partner performance and identify areas for improvement and growth via product cross-sell and further business development.
* Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
* Conduct regular client check-ins, including renewal meetings, performance reviews, and program updates.
Account Operations & Execution
* Coordinate account implementation, enrollment, and onboarding activities.
* Track and resolve service issues related to billing, eligibility, claims, policy changes, and compliance.
* Prepare and deliver customized reporting packages, including utilization, claims summaries, and performance metrics.
Product & Industry Expertise
* Maintain a solid understanding of Accident & Health products such as Group Accident, Supplemental Health, Hospital Indemnity, Travel Accident, Disability, and Specialty Risk programs.
* Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor offerings.
* Ability to effectively educate clients and brokers on product features, coverage terms, and program performance.
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, healthcare administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Account management experience in the Accident & Health, employee benefits, or broader property/casualty insurance.
* Strong understanding of A&H product lines and insurance concepts.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Skills and Abilities
* Experience working for an insurance carrier, MGU/MGA, TPA, or benefits brokerage.
* Active Life & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience with enrollment platforms, claims systems, or broker management tools.

$61,900 - $83,622/year
* Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.
