Primary Function:
Performs engineering work with a focus on substation engineering design including both physical and protection & control practices. Requires knowledge of substation systems from 34.5kV to 500kV with familiarity with basic principles related to the engineering design or high voltage substations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
Work within a project team to create all design documents and drawings for a project, including creating wiring diagrams from schematics, generating bills of materials, and applying field mark-ups of project as-built drawings with minimal supervision
Perform Engineering support tasks such as relay burden, lighting, load flow, and short circuit calculations with minimal supervision
Apply engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as ground grid design, relay coordination, transformer sizing, and load flow and short circuit studies with minimal supervision
Review project Schedules and work with a project engineer to ensure projects remain on schedule
Apply engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI
Properly use the document management system
Apply corporate standard engineering practices
Supervise project activities
Communicate and coordinate project activities with project engineer, customer representatives, and others as needed
Spend time at job sites to gain hands-on knowledge and additional training in substation construction and design
Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work
Bring potential project-related problems and possible solutions to the attention of the responsible party
Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor degree in ElectricalEngineering, or equivalent degrees, from an accredited university. Experience in substation design; successful candidates will have at least 3 years experience in substation engineering design with more senior level positions requiring 7 years or more in hands on engineering design. Senior applicants must be a licensed professional engineer with ability to become licensed in multiple states or must be able to gain license within one year of hire.
Familiarity with electrical relays currently utilized in the electric power utility industry
Experience in application of relays and metering in an electrical substation at 138kV and above
Experience in the design of electrical schematics for relay applications and control systems
Experience in the design of connection drawings and cabling
Relay coordination experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals
Knowledge and understanding of three phase power systems
Knowledge and understanding of per-unit mathematics and symmetrical components
Knowledge and understanding of substation components and their functions
Knowledge of design documents and drawings necessary to complete a projects
Knowledge of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI
Knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
Communicating effectively with co-workers, vendors, clients, etc.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical effort.
Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day

Diagnose issues with electrical components using testing equipment such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters.
Installing new instrumentation loops according to instrument specs and testing.
Maintains the workload and schedule for the facility daily to adjust to changes in work requirements.

The Senior/Staff Engineer, Process Safety Management reports to the Engineering Superintendent, Process Safety Management, and will help to provide governance and assurance for an effective implementation of the Process Safety Management program elements. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Support and facilitate PHAs and other risk assessment processes.

Mentor others in process safety to understand, identify and reduce process safety risk.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in ElectricalEngineering from an accredited university. Must be a licensed professional engineer with over 15 years experience in the industry. Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in both substation engineering and design, along with the ability to oversee multiple projects, are required.

The Senior or Staff Engineer, Maintenance Turnaround is responsible for assisting with/the planning, execution, and management of turnaround activities within the liquified natural gas (LNG) facility. Reporting to the Turnaround and Contracts Superintendent, this position involves coordinating maintenance and engineering activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and optimizing resource allocation throughout the turnaround process. The Senior or Staff Engineer, Maintenance Turnaround will analyze technical requirements, support development of detailed work plans and cost estimates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of turnaround activities. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization, time-management, and effective communication are essential for successfully executing turnaround objectives while minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. They will be responsible for the adherence and execution of the Turnaround Management Strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist or Lead execution of and ensure adherence to the Cheniere Turnaround Management strategy through all phases from Turnaround Initiation to Turnaround Closeout.
Support development of detailed turnaround plans, including scope, cost estimates, timeline, schedules and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.
Conduct thorough assessments of equipment and processes repair and maintenance plans to identify and mitigate risks to meeting the turnaround objectives. Ensure repair plans meet required specifications.
Develop and analyze engineering scope of work packages as required for turnaround projects to include inspection, quality control, cleaning, replacement, and upgrade requirements.
Execute management of change (MOC) process, as required, to execute turnaround scope of work.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including other turnaround teams, Production, maintenance, engineering, and HSE to align turnaround objectives and ensure seamless communication.
Aid or Lead development of, monitoring, control, and forecasting of turnaround budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits.
Ensure that all work has necessary quality assurance controls to meet industry standards, HSE and regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the turnaround process.
Support coordination and management of contractor onboarding and performance of contractors working with Supply Chain Management, ensuring they meet project specifications and safety requirements.
Track and report on turnaround progress and milestones, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Assist in or Develop and present reports and detailed presentations to management highlighting progress, challenges, financial impact, and improvement recommendations.

Recent experience with LNG is preferred, however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable. Formal education and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with personal characteristics of integrity, accountability, and dependability are also required. At least 5 years' experience with CMMS is required. Experience with Maximo CMMS is highly desirable. Oracle eAM, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel is desirable.

WORK CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, smell, type and write.
Must be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200+ steps), climb vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height, and lift and move objects weighting up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors, and exposed to year-round weather conditions in an ocean environment, noise, and other conditions normal to his industry. There is a considerable number of outdoor activities involved.

We are seeking an Instrument and Control System Engineer to join our project team in Cameron, LA.
The role will be part of the site engineering team responsible for ensuring that the Plant Instrumentation and Control Systems operate as per design, in a safe and reliable manner with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
I&C MOC/HAZOP/RFI signoff
Site I&C technical authority
Ensure contractor adheres to project standards
Assist PSSR close our and walk downs
Assist I&C Design Manager as needed
Participate in Site Acceptance Test.
Review progress of assigned systems
Review and approve temporary modifications to I&C equipment.
Provide input to weekly site engineering report
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, preferably with specialization in Process Control, Control systems, and Instrumentation.
Minimum 10 year's experience working with instrumentation and control systems.
Experience with:
Plant Instrumented Control and Safety Systems (e.g. Distributed Control Systems (Mark VIe & Emerson), Safety Systems (Mark VIe, Emerson, HIMA), Fire and Gas Systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Emerson/GE, etc.)
Operational Technology Networks, Firewalls and Cyber Security
Field Instrumentation for process measurement (e.g. Pressure, Temperature, Level, Flow, etc.) Control Valves, Shutdown Valves (Air, Gas, and Motor Operated), Analyzers (H2S, Moisture, etc.) Gas Chromatographs, Flow Metering Systems (Ultrasonic, Coriolis, Differential Pressure, etc.) and their transmission systems (e.g. 4-20mA, Hart, ProfiBus, etc.)
Alarm Management Systems including Management of Alarm databases and audits against Operating systems
Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities highly preferred
