Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities (for Software Developer I): Develop and maintain new and existing applications. With guidance, create and maintain basic to moderately complex applications for the benefit of internal and external customers. Assist in the creation of technical design documents for projects. Provide unit testing for all code changes with the goal of providing a stable production environment. Troubleshoot bugs and provide effective solutions to application defects based on user feedback. Ability to multi-task responsibilities and manage workloads with established deadlines. Ability to organize, analyze, and solve complex problems with attention to detail and accuracy. Develop appropriate requirements, scope, and estimates. Communicate consistently and effectively with internal team members to understand requirements. Assist project team members in creating scope documents. Assist project team members in the development of project estimates. Possess an understanding of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and software development principles, enabling the implementation of efficient and scalable solutions. Requirements Required (for Software Developer I) Associates degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related degree. 0-1 year of experience working with Oracle and PL/SQL. Preferred (for Software Developer I) Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related degree. 0-1 year of experience in application development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or working experience. Knowledge of SQL and database design principles. 0-1 year of experience working with JSON, Java, XML, and CSS. Knowledge and experience with code development tools: Git, Bitbucket, SqlDeveloper, IntelliJ, and Jira or similar tooling. Knowledge and experience with APIs.
