Minimum Education Trade School Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications Qualifications: Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in CNC programming, nesting, or CAD/CAM within a metal fabrication or industrial environment. Proficiency in nesting software (e. g. , TruTops, Radan, SigmaNEST) and CAD platforms (e. g. , AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and tooling. Familiarity with Trumpf lasers, press brakes, and punch machines is highly desirable. Knowledge of electrical/control systems integration with fabrication equipment. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
