The rate of pay will be $46.00 per hour for Journeyman License Electricians with $100.00 per day of per diem. What You'll Do: * Install raceways, conduit, and cable trays * Terminate motors and motor controls * Pull wire and cable * Install and terminate transformers, buss duct, switchgear, and motor control centers * Maintain quality sign-off sheets and customer approval sheets * Read and interpret all applicable codes, drawings, schematics, sketches, and specifications related to assigned work * Complete work safely and efficiently, while upholding quality requirements What We're Looking For: * Education: * High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred * Experience: * A valid Class A or B license from the State of Iowa * Skills: * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure * Ability to make complex cuts not to waste material, and figure out complex forming systems * Training and complying with all safety rules, and performing without constant supervision * Language Skills: * Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals * Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively with customers and co-workers Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, sit, stand and walk on uneven ground; use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; frequently make repetitive reaching and other movements with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
