Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Temporary Sales/Stock Support Associate to join the team at their boutique on Oak Street in Chicago.
This is a full-time temporary position starting immediately and continuing through December. Candidates should be able to adhere to a flexible retail schedule, with weekend and holiday availability as needed.
Job Duties Include:
Greet clients and assist with their needs, ensuring a positive experience until an associate can take over
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly
Pull and organize merchandise, restocking or shelving items as necessary
Perform cleaning and general BOH duties to maintain a tidy and organized environment
Support team members in both client-facing and behind-the-scenes tasks to ensure smooth operations
Additional duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:

Shipping Associate 1st Shift

Job Description
The Shipping Associate, 1st Shift position, is responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving, storing, and processing incoming shipments. This role includes the timely distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, while ensuring the accuracy and safety of all related tasks. The Shipping Associate, 1st Shift provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers and demonstrates strict confidentiality with all team members while serving as an ambassador of our culture.
Essential Functions:
Accurately picks, packs, and loads customer orders onto delivery vehicles.
Demonstrates company core values and best practices.
Exemplifies dedication to customer satisfaction with a superior experience.
Assists team members with daily problem resolution.
Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain those quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped.
Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies shipping supervisor.
Delivers items to the loading dock and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
May operate dolly, pallet jack, crane, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink wrap machine.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and continuous quality improvement objectives.
Adhere to all company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must possess strong mathematical aptitude.
Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
Able to communicate in English with regard to the essential functions of the position
Required Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
One year of prior warehouse experience.
Prior forklift experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull objects up 50 pounds.
Requires visual, hearing and speech acuity.
Exposure to extreme temperatures and elements, noise, and fumes.
Ability to use hands to operate office equipment.
