We are looking for a Robot Technician who can join one of our automotive customers at their plant in Flint, MI. The person in this role will be responsible for overseeing robots in the plant to make sure they are continuously running and doing data collection on any blocks or stoppage.
Compensation: $18-22/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Send ASN (shipment notification) for customer shipments
Maintain up to date receiving records
Documents and follows escalation on discrepancies with shipments

Perform safety checks daily on equipment
Communicate within department via email and using radio

ZFS Ithaca has taken over the role of Michigan's largest soybean processor, a title held by its affiliate, Zeeland Farm Services, Inc., for more than 20 years.
ZFS Ithaca is a 45 million bushel per year soybean processing operation and a 6.8 million bushel grain storage facility serviced by both rail and truck. Located in the beautiful city of Ithaca in central Michigan, ZFS Ithaca has quadrupled the state's soybean processing capacity and will impact agriculture in the state for decades.
Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Technician is responsible for assisting in the positioning of inventory by daily safe grain loading and unloading of trucks and railcar.
Schedule:
2-2-3 Shift, 4:50PM to 5:00AM
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
As a Shipping & Receiving Technician, there is mandatory attendance during our bi-annual preventative maintenance shutdowns. On occasion, some position specific trainings may occur outside of the typical work schedule listed.
Compensation:
Position starts at $19.20 an hour, with an additional night shift premium of $1.50 an hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physically monitor the receiving/loading process to ensure proper flow.
Safely operate various heavy equipment used to transfer material, product, and rail cars.
Assist in coordinating inbound soybean receiving activities and segregation of product.
Verifies loading instructions and paperwork to ensure accurate loading of product.
Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, process aids, and packaging materials relevant to department. Inspects interior for cleanliness and exterior for leaks or damage.
Take samples of products, analyze quality, and record resulting test data.
Maintain logs and follow preventative maintenance activities and records.
Make necessary physical adjustments to meet desired operating parameters.
Notify Supervisor or Management of operational or food safety concerns.
Assist all other employees and departments as required for efficient plant operation.
Communicates regularly with all necessary personnel to ensure efficient plant operation.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety requirements.
Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.

Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Technician is responsible for assisting in the positioning of inventory by daily safe grain loading and unloading of trucks and railcar.
Schedule:
2-2-3 Shift, 4:50PM to 5:00AM
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
As a Shipping & Receiving Technician, there is mandatory attendance during our bi-annual preventative maintenance shutdowns. On occasion, some position specific trainings may occur outside of the typical work schedule listed.
Compensation:
Position starts at $19.20 an hour, with an additional night shift premium of $1.50 an hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physically monitor the receiving/loading process to ensure proper flow.
Safely operate various heavy equipment used to transfer material, product, and rail cars.
Assist in coordinating inbound soybean receiving activities and segregation of product.
Verifies loading instructions and paperwork to ensure accurate loading of product.
Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, process aids, and packaging materials relevant to department. Inspects interior for cleanliness and exterior for leaks or damage.
Take samples of products, analyze quality, and record resulting test data.
Maintain logs and follow preventative maintenance activities and records.
Make necessary physical adjustments to meet desired operating parameters.
Notify Supervisor or Management of operational or food safety concerns.
Assist all other employees and departments as required for efficient plant operation.
Communicates regularly with all necessary personnel to ensure efficient plant operation.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety requirements.
Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times.

Essential Job Functions
1. Performs accurate and timely warehouse functions in the following areas.
* Fills customers' request for parts including verifying proper quantities, part numbers, part description, condition code, lot numbers/expiration dates, etc. Responds to internal and external customers' inquiries regarding parts issues including tracking of goods using internal and external systems and researching open orders and lost parts
* Maintains integrity of inventory system by accurately documenting parts' movements in the computer as well as the RF System (i.e. warehouse moves, order fulfillment, credits and put a ways, etc.).
* Maintains accurate inventory by performing RF cycle counts and manual counts.
* Handles returns, credits and salvages as necessary.
* Prepares parts shipments by inspecting and safely packaging parts, performing shipment entry, producing correct documentation and accurately coding shipping costs for billing.
* Processes incoming shipments, verifies shipment with purchase orders, and visually inspects materials for damage, quantity, descriptions, part number, serial number, condition order, etc. per FAA regulations and Duncan approved procedures.
* Unloads and loads delivery trucks using a forklift in a safe and timely manner. Visually inspects materials for obvious damage, properly documents any damage(s), and notifies appropriate team member of any damage.
* Coordinates emergency shipments with appropriate carrier according to Duncan Aviation approved procedures as necessary.
2. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
