**About the Role**
+ Merchandisers are responsible for stocking and displaying our products on shelves/coolers at large accounts within a set territory.

Job Summary
As a receiving associate, you will learn all of our receiving and inventory processes.
You will receiveshipments, perform inventory counts, update the inventory system, and deliver goods to the correct department.
You will carefully audit shipments ensuring accuracy against packing slips and invoicing, communicating discrepancies to vendors.
You will assist with packaging and shipping orders to customers and distributors.
You will also be trained in many warehouse duties that include:
Measuring and cutting fabric with a rotary cutter.
Collating which consists of the production of kits and other products.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of products and packaging.
Perform order fulfillment as well as shipping and receiving duties when needed.

What You Will Do:
Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Spokane Distribution Center located at 9610 W. Hallett Road, Spokane, WA 99224.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
Willingness to be trained on and operate order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists. Keep in mind, not all available positions operate equipment.
Report defects and need for repairs.
Utilize pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers.
Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative.
Perform housekeeping functions as required.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

Actual shift availability varies week by week. Successful candidates will be started as soon as a position becomes available on their requested shift. Please note that this could mean a sizable waiting period before starting.
1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm ($19.95/hour)
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm ($20.95/hour)
3rd Shift: Sunday night - Friday morning 10pm - 6:30am ($20.95/hour)
4th Shift: Saturday and Sunday 10am - 8:30pm and Monday and Tuesday 2pm - 12:30am ($20.95/hour)
5th Shift: Wednesday - Friday 2pm - 12:30am and Saturday 10am - 8:30pm ($20.95/hour)
