    Shipping and receiving clerk job in Canton, OH

    The objective of the Shipping and Receiving position is to ensure that proper material is sent out and received into Stone Products in a timely and efficient manner. Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities Checking incoming shipments and ensuring that everything is accurate according to the shipping label Preparing orders ready to ship out to customer or vendors Putting Superior Rollers, Heads and/or pulleys away daily Keeping the shop area clean (sweeping floors, taking out the trash in the Roller Building and Parts Department) Complete daily shipping logs before leaving for the day Picking sales orders, pulling and staging orders for orders Loading and unloading freight trucks Putting away all parts Documenting parts and organizing shop Submitting inventory to operations in building Delivery of all parts being worked on in the shop Put away equipment at the end of day Tag sales orders with job number Cleaning sidewalks and walkways during bad weather Other tasks as assigned Skills & Requirements Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Ability to work with team members Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere and respect for fellow workers and business relationships Excellent time management skills Education & Experience Experience in a Shipping and Receiving Department High School Diploma Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
