Almac Group is currently seeking a Receiving Operator for our Souderton, PA location. The Receiving Operator will be responsible for carrying out all material handling activities required within the receiving area of the warehouse to aid in servicing the Production and Distribution departments. They will be responsible for the receipt of material into the Clinical Services warehouse and ensure that levels of customer service and cGMP compliance are maintained to the highest possible standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Unload trucks, segregate and re-stack all incoming components, labels, drug, job related materials, and non-job related materials within the ambient, refrigerated, and frozen areas of the warehouse.
Provide regular updates to the Receiving Operator Grade 3, Receiving Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager where appropriate regarding work allocation and project status.
Ensure all material is labelled, stored correctly and properly protected against damage or deterioration. All stock must be located properly with storage locations being accurately recorded on the relevant system
Assisting other areas within the Warehouse department as deemed necessary by the Receiving Supervisor.
Qualifications:

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a collaborative and detailed individual to join our Shipping team. This role will be responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of products to customers or distribution centers, maintaining shipping records, and monitoring inventory levels in a manufacturing facility. A Shipping Associate works with a team to verify and pack orders, label packages, and coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:
* Prepare and package materials for shipment based upon guidelines and/or customer instructions. Prepare shipments for carriers (i.e., UPS, FedEx, LTL and flatbed) and coordinate pickup. Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders. Maintain departmental records such as UPS shipments, package inventories, and packing slips.
* Ensure packages are properly sealed, labelled, and meet shipping regulations and guidelines. Obtain spare parts and prepare for shipping. Complete shipping tasks, use various hand, pneumatic, and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, presses. * Stack and arrange products into crates, boxes, and cartons. Move pumps using cranes and hoists to prepare for shipment. Pull, assemble, and transact kitting work orders.
* Maintain organized inventory in the shipping area. Monitor stock levels of shipping supplies (boxes, packing materials, labels, etc.) and communicate needs to supervisor. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. Prepare shipping-related paperwork such as bills of lading, packing slips and customs documents if applicable.
* Participate in training programs to improve shipping skills and product knowledge. Attend monthly EHS trainings. Must obtain and maintain IR certification/license for harness and equipment (Saw, forklift, and scissor lift). Follow all policies and procedures (i.e. report on time and ready to work - Start/Lunch/Breaks).
* Use order pick list to ensure that all parts associated with order are present before packing order. Inspect products for any defects or damage before packaging. Ensure that products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements. Identify and report defects or issues in the assembly process and necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality.

Job Description

Responsible for receiving of all medical supplies for hospital.
Responsibilities
Receive and unpack materials and supplies against purchase orders (PO's) for delivery
Prepare orders for return-to-vendor shipment
Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment
Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming
Prepare daily production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges
Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent
0-1 year experience working in a shipping/receiving or professional office environment
Some knowledge of the job
Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
Knowledge & application of domestic and international shipping carriers, customs, duties and shipping regulations as well as internal tools used (e.g., scanning equipment, hot- synching of scanners, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts)
Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must
Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines
