Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists Create supplier shipping documents meeting all LH Battery and Government regulations Prepare outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards to ensure 100% on-time shipping to customer plant Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries Label, sort, and organize inventory in designated storage areas Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits Create and maintain accurate records for the container yard Manage critical ship times, production schedules, and return packaging to ensure no impact to upstream and downstream customers Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Communicate discrepancies, damages, or delays to appropriate departments Support other warehouse functions as needed Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in logistics or relevant fields 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving Forklift certification preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams. Familiarity with ERP systems and material tracking software, with a focus on internal inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
