Set up Bill of Lading (BOL) documents for nightly drum production based on customer service-provided production reports. Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, including coordinating dock door assignments, printing BOLs, and assisting with general transportation duties. Collaborate with the production team to assist in product creation, contributing up to 50% of time to production activities. Conduct daily grade-outs of drums to ensure product quality and consistency. Serve as a direct backup for office administrative duties, maintaining workflow continuity in the absence of key personnel. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager to support team operations. Reporting to a Supervisory or Managerial Staff Member within the facility, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for receiving product for processing, the movement of product through the facility during processing and the loading of product onto trailers to be returned to the customer. Responsibilities/Duties * Receives incoming un-processed product, verifies customer count and lot numbers, notes any damage and enters information into the computer system. * Operates forklift to remove palletized product from truck, and if floor loaded must remove each carton individually and place on pallets and moves to un-processed storage. * Moves product via forklift to and from various areas of the facility for processing. * Removes samples from customer product and coordinates shipment of samples. * May shrink-wrap palletized finished product to be returned to the customer. * May contact trucking company and schedule pick-up of finished product. * Using forklift, loads palletized product onto trailer. * Assists with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications/Experience Required/Special Skills * High School Diploma or GED * Six (6) months to one (1) year of previous warehouse experience preferred. * Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience operating a forklift preferred. * Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. * Must be willing to work established shifts. * Should be proficient using a computer and be able to analyze data in a database/spreadsheet. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time. Department: Manufacturing & Distribution - Assembly Employment Type: Full Time Compensation: $19.50 - $20.00 / hour Description The Shipping/Receiving Associate is responsible for processing and packing all orders that are produced onsite according to company procedures while following safety practices and rules. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for all receiving activities including the loading and unloading of material. Computer skills and operating a forklift are required along with the ability to lift heavy material up to 50 pounds. Currently looking for 1st shift candidate. Our shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:30am- 3:00pm. How You Will Help: * Use company software to process each order. * Package all customer orders consistent with company standards utilizing UPS, FedEx and LTL order. * Operate a sit down and stand-up forklift truck to load all outgoing material and unloading all incoming material * Label material according to customer specifications * Move material to new locations as needed * Must follow all safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe work environment * Clean designated areas of warehouse as needed * All other duties/tasks as assigned What You Will Bring: * +1 year Shipping/Receiving experience is required * Demonstrated ability to operate computers and related technology in a warehouse environment, including inventory systems and data entry tools. * Requires standing * Repetitive use of both hands * Constant awareness of surroundings * Requires pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 50 lbs) * Good Verbal and written communication skills * Good math skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
