Purpose of Job: Operate systems and equipment at the site to package anesthetic agents according to customer requirements. Documents all activities in the proper GMP format, ensures accurate Inventory is maintained, and performs proper cleaning of the Pharmaceutical Packaging area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations such as the warehouse down the street.
Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information by way of SAP/PAS-X systems.
Reviews Finished Goods shipments from packaging for accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
Confirms picklist details and or special instructions provided by the weekly packaging schedule; expedites shipments that affect the packaging schedule.
Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids) in and out of packaging and the Bethlehem warehouse.
When problems arise, resolves issues by contacting the following departments with email warehouse, planning, QC and packaging supervision.
Apply Quarantine / Approval labels on finish good pallets
Conducts weekly cycle counts of packaging and Bethlehem warehouse.
Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment within packaging and Bethlehem warehouse.
Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within or to the main warehouse.
Documents all activities in a manner that is compliant with GDPs and all FDA regulations. This may include providing information to the person responsible for completing the packaging batch record.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times to interface effectively with all internal and external customers
Knowledge and application of SAP and PAS-X for inventory control and maintenance work notifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professional attitude. Legible, cGMP compliant handwriting is mandatory.
Basic computer skills with the ability to operate PLC controls.
Creative and able to present various solutions.
Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational disposition
Knowledge of the cGMP regulations and their application to the packaging processes
Education / Experience:
Minimum Education Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience 2+ years of relevant Material Handler experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment.
Pharmaceutical GMP experience is preferred.
Minimum of 2 year's experience safely operating a Forklift.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen is mandatory.

Notify shift supervisor immediately regarding any apparent unsatisfactory product, discrepancies, shipment container issues or missing seals.
Visually inspect product and notify the lab if a sample is needed.

Maintain inventory accuracy through good inventory control, ensure accurate entry of receiving into WMS inventory system and that all shipping documents have been signed.
Shipping
Inspect truck to ensure clean, infestation and odor free, no holes.

Load and secure product on truck to avoid any spillage or tipping and affix seal to doors.
Label each pallet for less than truckload orders to ensure product delivered to proper customer.
Print bill of lading, documenting seal numbers; sign and issue original to truck driver, file copy in shipping document control.
