Specific duties include:
Unloading and loading trucks using forklifts and other powered equipment
Making transactions using an Inventory Management System (JDE)
Checking incoming materials against packing slip
Inspecting and labeling incoming material and moving it to proper location
Prioritizing the processing of materials
Cycle Counting
Receiving and determining the disposition of returned goods
Organizing and disposing of damaged goods including proper JDE transactions
Picking, labeling, and returning products to shipping dock as required
Any other tasks deemed necessary during the course of the day
Qualifications include:
Excellent organization skills
Superior attention to detail
Experience working with distribution software is a plus
Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
Physical Demand:
Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.
Work Environment:
100% manufacturing setting
Associate must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement in varies areas, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
