The Explosive Safety Specialist provides a critical role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive explosive safety program in accordance with DOT, U.S. Air Force, Space Force and NOTU Explosive Safety Instructions. The Explosive Safety Specialist provides oversight and evaluation of hazardous operations involving ordnance, conducts Explosive Safety Training, performs spot inspections and assists in hazardous operations procedure development. This position also has ancillary responsibilities to support the occupational health and safety program. This position also maintains the DOT Driver's Qualification Files for the contract.
