Background
The Client utilizes Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Version 8.1 hosted in the Kronos Private Cloud, internally called MCtime, to collect time and attendance data for the County Government workforce. The County has approximately 40 departments with 13000+ records in the Kronos database. The Client uses both the project and hourly timecard views. The majority of employees make time and attendance entries via the internet or have timekeepers who do so on their behalf; approximately 400 employees use Kronos DX time clocks. Various scheduling systems interface with Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Version 8.1 to support the operational needs of individual departments such as the Department of Transportation, Transit Division, Fire and Rescue Services and the Police Department. The Department of Transportation, Highway Services Division, use an internal application called Crew Day Card; the Transit Services Division use Trapeze (non-Kronos); Fire and Rescue Services and the Police Department use TeleStaff, a Kronos scheduling module. The Department of Correction and Rehabilitation uses a stand-alone TeleStaff application for internal scheduling which does not interface with the Timekeeping application. Timekeeping policies and processes are governed by Client Personnel Regulations and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Timekeeping data is exported bi-weekly to the Enterprise Resource Planning System, Oracle eBusiness.
General system administration is required throughout the fourteen day pay cycle. Tasks include, but are not limited to, processing of special employee group access, schedule change and delegation forms, creating/maintaining/assigning schedule patterns and groups, reviewing and taking appropriate action on Transaction Assistant errors, monitoring routine interface jobs, creating reports based on changing business needs, creating/modifying SQL queries to support timekeeping related processes and configuration/re-configuration of pay codes, pay rules, work rules and/or assignment rules and troubleshooting of errors that could occur between the scheduling systems and Kronos Workforce Timekeeper and/or Kronos Workforce Timekeeper and Oracle eBusiness.

Role and Responsibilities
Client seeks one skilled functional administrator(s) who will work under the direction of the functional program manager and closely with various project teams, departmental subject matter experts and the vendor. Background: The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) gathers relevant data through annual collections. These collections focus primarily on institutional data for credit-bearing programs. Through collaborative efforts with the Maryland community colleges, MHEC has just begun to pilot a new collection specific to non-credit completers. Non-credit programs are directly tied to specific workforce outcomes, particularly when there is a license or professional certificate involved. MHEC is in need of a formal mechanism to evaluate workforce outcomes and the success of non-credit programs at degree-granting institutions and private career schools regulated by MHEC. To do this, MHEC seeks a project coordinator to guide the process of expanding the pilot non-credit completer's collection beyond community colleges to other educational segments.
The Project Coordinator will provide daily project support for the delivery of key data system implementation activities for the Workforce Data Quality Initiative. They will oversee and provide daily scheduling, activity coordination, and reporting for project workflows. The Project Coordinator will interact with other skilled positions and stakeholders to coordinate activities that will promote the expansion of the existing non-credit data collection to impact workforce outcomes. Job Description:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) has a requirement for technical and engineering support in the systems engineering, integration, maintenance, documentation, and development and operation of training simulations. SimIS seeks a Technical Systems Analyst to provide analytical and technical support for shore-based training systems, focusing on scenario development, system integration, and performance analysis. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to analyze complex simulation systems and training requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related technical field
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in systems analysis or military simulation systems
Experience with scenario development and validation processes
Knowledge of military training systems and simulation technologies
Travel required: 25%
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in simulation system analysis and performance evaluation
Experience with DIS/HLA simulation standards and protocols
Knowledge of LUA scripting and scenario development tools
Understanding of system integration principles and methodologies
Familiarity with database management and data analysis tools
Experience with technical documentation and reporting
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
Experience with requirements analysis and system specification development
Knowledge of verification and validation processes
Understanding of configuration management principles
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and technical teams
Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to analysis
Ability to translate operational requirements into technical specifications
Key Responsibilities
Conduct technical analysis of simulation systems and training requirements
Support scenario development, verification, and validation activities
Analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities
Develop technical documentation including specifications and procedures
Support configuration management activities and change control processes
Participate in technical review meetings and provide analytical input
Conduct system integration studies and compatibility assessments
Analyze training effectiveness and recommend system enhancements
Support engineering change proposal development and review
Prepare technical reports and briefings for management and government customers

Job Description:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) has a requirement for technical and engineering support in the systems engineering, integration, maintenance, documentation, and development and operation of training simulations. SimIS seeks a Senior Field Engineer to provide advanced technical leadership and engineering support for shore-based training (SBT) simulator and simulation systems at SCSTC. This position requires expertise in complex military simulation systems, configuration management, and engineering analysis to ensure optimal performance of training environments. The Senior Field Engineer serves as the primary technical authority for system integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of advanced naval combat systems simulators.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in military simulation systems, preferably AEGIS or naval combat systems
Advanced knowledge of DIS/HLA simulation standards and protocols
Experience with system integration and configuration management
Travel Required: 25%
Technical Skills:
DoD 8140 System Administrator (451) intermediate certification required
Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
Preferred: AEGIS system certifications, PMP or equivalent project management certification
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interface with government and contractor organizations at senior levels
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering analysis and support for simulator system integration efforts
Provide technical oversight for computer program upgrades and system modifications
Develop and review engineering change proposals (ECPs), specification changes, and technical documentation
Lead configuration management activities and support Configuration Control Boards
Conduct engineering studies to enhance simulator realism and training effectiveness
Interface with government organizations including CSEDS, IWSL, and SCSC
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams
Review and approve technical specifications and design documents
Support Aegis Curriculum Management Board (ACMB) and Aegis Configuration Control Board meetings
Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and system administration requirements

SimIS Inc seeks a Senior System Administrator to provide combat system simulation support to the Warfare Analysis and Digital Modeling (M) Combat System Simulations Branch (M33), Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD), at Dahlgren, VA. The candidate will establish and implement solutions that are within Government security guidelines and maintain network infrastructure and processes that ensure network architectures can be accredited for Government wide area network usage in support of an overall effort to provide high fidelity simulation systems and enable engineers to verify Combat Systems' performance in desktop environments and at Land Based Test and Training Sites (LBTTS).
Experience Required:
Six (6) years of general combat system experience in one or more of the following disciplines: combat systems design/engineering, combat system computer program development, combat system certification, combat system simulation engineering, combat system operations and Life-Cycle support.
General experience providing configuration management, system administration, and information assurance support for combat system interface simulation, test, analysis, and training systems associated with combat system development and Life-Cycle engineering support.
Eight (8) years of specific experience as follows:
Experience in implementing and maintaining complex computer system network administration activities.
Experience in Microsoft Windows computer operating systems, LINUX operating systems, CISCO Systems, computer security program administration, and administration/distribution of commercial and Government owned application computer programs.
Experience in establishing and implementing solutions that are within Government security guidelines and maintaining network infrastructure and processes that ensure network architectures that are able to be accredited for Government wide area network usage.
Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required:
BS Degree in a business, technical or engineering field.
Certification in LINUX operating systems

CompTIA, the Server+
Per DoD Directive 8570.1M, this position requires IAT Level II or higher. This position is designated as IT-I.
