Background The Client utilizes Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Version 8.1 hosted in the Kronos Private Cloud, internally called MCtime, to collect time and attendance data for the County Government workforce. The County has approximately 40 departments with 13000+ records in the Kronos database. The Client uses both the project and hourly timecard views. The majority of employees make time and attendance entries via the internet or have timekeepers who do so on their behalf; approximately 400 employees use Kronos DX time clocks. Various scheduling systems interface with Kronos Workforce Timekeeper Version 8.1 to support the operational needs of individual departments such as the Department of Transportation, Transit Division, Fire and Rescue Services and the Police Department. The Department of Transportation, Highway Services Division, use an internal application called Crew Day Card; the Transit Services Division use Trapeze (non-Kronos); Fire and Rescue Services and the Police Department use TeleStaff, a Kronos scheduling module. The Department of Correction and Rehabilitation uses a stand-alone TeleStaff application for internal scheduling which does not interface with the Timekeeping application. Timekeeping policies and processes are governed by Client Personnel Regulations and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Timekeeping data is exported bi-weekly to the Enterprise Resource Planning System, Oracle eBusiness. General system administration is required throughout the fourteen day pay cycle.
