Perform electrical work on systems rated up to 600VAC and on low-, control-, and high-voltage systems up to 15kV. Troubleshoot, install, repair, and connect complex electrical equipment including rectifiers, transformers, substation components, switchgear, UPS systems, and variable speed drives. Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and install process control systems including instrument loops, rectifier load controls, boiler controls, and chiller/refrigeration systems. Perform routine troubleshooting of power management systems, including substation filters. Use electrical PM tools such as vibration analyzers, pH and conductivity calibration equipment, and laser alignment tools. Report accidents, near-misses, and abnormal occurrences to the Chief Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or HSE department. Safely operate transportation equipment relevant to the job, such as forklifts and rail movers. Work safely with a variety of chemicals and follow all plant-wide safety procedures, including proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and support the development and implementation of the Process Safety Management (PSM) system. Engage in site safety programs and initiatives to promote a strong safety culture. Perform daily responsibilities in alignment with ISO and QMS quality standards.
