Order food, following Bickford's process, in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (i.e., production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, week's extension menus, week-at-a-glance menus). Prepare meals following Bickford's menus, processes, and expectations. Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated. Ensure Bickford's process is followed during meal service. Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience. Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide. Utilize residents' Meal Order Information form to follow/track all resident physician ordered diets, allergies, and preferences. Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford's policies. Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford's policies. Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule. Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford's expectations for cleanliness. Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to ensure appropriate food/refreshments are provided for tours and events. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; one-year related experience Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require. The Youth Services Navigator will promote access to harm reduction supplies and services at Streetwork's Drop-In Center, with a focus on LGBTQ youth and youth of color at risk of SUDs Youth Services Navigators (YSN) will facilitate and conduct one-on-one harm reduction goal setting intervention for drug using clients. Youth Services Navigators will provide overdose prevention and response trainings for drug users. The YSN will provide youth seeking harm reduction services with information, counseling and supplies (safer syringe services, sniff kits, safer sex supplies, Naloxone kits and sharps disposal kits), The Youth Services Navigators will also be needed to provide general program services such client monitoring in the milieu, intake and assessment, supportive counseling, referrals, syringe exchange, escorts and the provision of concrete services (meal preparation client, laundry, provision of supplies), and groups. Responsibilities: Learn and integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, using an anti-oppressive lens, into your work with clients.
