May cover Medical Assistants as needed, conducting vitals and phlebotomy practices. Follows patients in clinic as needed for continuity of care, and schedules follow-up visits in clinic as needed. Acts as a resource expert for decisions, planning, and policies affecting the health and wellness of OMWL patients. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of OMWL programs and pharmacology. Helps keep up to date student records, files and gradebooks. Monday-Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide class starting Nov 2025. Attends 5-day in person orientation in Co, Ohio Flexibility with class times are available, days or evenings. We can work with your schedule. Teaches the EKG/Phlebotomy curriculum certified through MedCA, and CNA curriculum according to Ohio Dept of Health. May need to update curriculum to best practices, lesson plans, teaching materials to aid students in developing skills and confidence in healthcare areas. Integrates computer-aided instruction into lessons as appropriate. Teaches hands on skills in the healthcare courses. Attends Clinical sites with students and overseas for safety. Attends skills lab testing for safety of students and volunteers. Collects, records, and reports all necessary information related to students. Attends company-wide engagement and volunteer activities including outreach. Keeps up to date with professional development and CEU's. Requirements: Associate degree in nursing but bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Experience working with adult and High School learners preferred. CPR Certification and Bloodborne Pathogen certification Registered Nurse with active license for the state of Ohio Train the Trainer Certification active with the ODH- To be obtained within 6 months after hire Experience teaching or instructing adults, in class instruction and clinical settings (preferred). Ability to perform and teach an EKG test, venipuncture and basic skills of activities of daily living

    Regions Hospital Laboratory is currently seeking a professional, quality-focused Laboratory Service Technician to join our team. The Lab Services Technician will provide a wide range of laboratory services including: Specimen collection. Client service and reception desk duties, ordering/ scheduling/ billing functions Laboratory testing. Phlebotomy, dispatching. Specimen processing. Centrifuging, delivery of specimens to appropriate lab/ department. Assuring proper efficiency and workflow management and ECG tracings. This position will also serve as a resource for questions from hospital and clinic staff regarding specimen handling and processing. Work schedule: FTE .5, Day Shift, every third weekend, Rotating holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Health care experience to include phlebotomy. Completion of a health care program (e.g. CMA, EMT, Paramedic, phlebotomy). Licensure/Registration/Certification: Phlebotomy Certificate strongly recommended.
