This is a paid internship starting Monday, May 18 through Friday, August 7, working up to 40 hours per week for the summer, with the potential to turn into a full-time, permanent position in the future. Interns will be responsible for coding software solutions for real projects, including the creation of new functions, enhancements, and maintenance to support our policy administration system. We are looking for currently-enrolled college students who are close to the West Des Moines area, as this is not a remote internship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Evaluates, clarifies, and understands requirements, documents, and functional specifications.
Codes software in accordance with specifications and requirements, using Java.
