As a **Clinical Business Systems Analyst** , you will play a critical role in shaping the digital healthcare strategy for the organization and our clients. You will be responsible for fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders, providing expert consultation on the design and feasibility of our clinical digital healthcare products, implementing large scale data exchange initiatives, and providing development and operations support. This role involves translating intricate clinical requirements into clear, actionable plans for product and technical teams. Our products are designed for clinical identification and stratification and facilitating precise member routing to in-person, telephonic, and digital outreach programs. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver impactful member outreach.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Work with customers, Software Engineers, Architects, Capability Managers, and other team members to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions. Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision, requirements and personalization to different clients, and user interface design.
+ Participate in the full software development life cycle by actively participating on Agile scrum teams in various roles, including, but not limited to, Scrum Master, Business Technical Analyst, User Interface designer, Capability Manager, or Tester, based upon experience and need.
+ Support various aspects of requirements testing (e.g. testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal production defects are realized and completing analysis of the results tying back to customer impacts.
+ Ensure compliance for required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Effectively communicate with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation.

Pay Rate: Based on experience
Shift Details:
* Variable hours throughout the week (Days, Afternoons, Evenings etc).
* One Weekend Shift required each week.
* Primarily at Utah Valley Hospital but may float to other Intermountain Hospitals (American Fork, Riverton or Primary Children's Lehi) to help provide coverage as needed.
* Utah Valley needs: On-Call for Imaging / Sedation / Infusion and availability to pick up open ED shifts, supporting children of adult consults

Additional Details: Must be a certified Child Life Specialist with active certification.
Previous Emergency Department, bereavement support and trauma experience in the Child Life field would be helpful.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
Documentation of a successfully completed 600-hour internship supervised by a Child Life Specialist
Child Life Certification from Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP). Documentation required. OR eligible for Child Life Certification (to be obtained within 15 months of hire date).
Experience with pediatric patients in a medical, hospital or behavioral health setting
Experience in Child Life Core Competencies which include but are not limited to 1) Establishing supportive relationships 2) Meeting needs of child and family members, with a focus on social, emotional, and cognitive development. 3) Providing education to and communicating with children, families, and team members 4) Providing coping support and comfort management 5) Guiding children in therapeutic play techniques 6) Ongoing assessment and written documentation of clinical care
Computer experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases or similar applications.

Become familiar with each child's treatment plan goals and oversee their daily progress

Obtains authorization for surgeries/hospital procedures by researching coverage and obtain prior auth for them. Verifies eligibility and benefits. Coordinates referral for patients that will go out of network. Point of contact for surgery authorization questions. Obtain proper CPT code from provider for authorization.
Proposes iCentra requirements to create a pre-surgical FIN# and to create required surgical scheduling card for the Hospital scheduler to pull the case information, where applicable.
Coordinate with the provider to ensures all necessary surgical/procedure equipment is requested for any special item that needs to be pulled from Hospital supplies or special equipment that needs to be brought in by surgical supply Reps. Coordinates any necessary Hospital items with nursing staff at the Hospital. Calls in surgical/procedure order for Providers the Hospital surgery/procedure scheduler day before cases.
Meets with surgery/procedure patients to explain the process. This includes pre-op labs, tests, or any pre-requisite that needs prior attention. Coordinates with Providers and Medical Staff any red flag pre-operative health concerns for patient safety.
Scan and Document process in patient charts and relay cost estimations. Investigate billing disputes for surgery/procedure.
