This position is responsible for sorting of mail from the mail insert machine and assisting operators with mail production. Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Transfer sealed envelopes from insert machine to mail trays. Ensure all envelopes are stamped and sealed. Confirm mailing addresses and micro numbers are visible in envelope window. Place filled mail trays onto pallets. Sort at more than one machine at a time. Assist machine operators with preparation work prior to start of each job. Assist machine operators with the clearing of stock and materials at the end of each job. Flexibility in work schedule, frequently 10 or more hours per day, is required on a recurring basis. Assist the department with additional work, as needed and/or requested. Requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS High School Diploma or GED preferred. Demonstrate effective written and oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, strong time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Must exhibit a strong customer service philosophy and attitude. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality. Work effectively independently and as a member of a team and work with all levels of employees.
