Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.
As set forth in Pave's Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law.

We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress toward this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. Staff Software Engineer, AI Product
The Browser Company
Staff software engineer job in New York, NY
Hi, we're The Browser Company 👋 and we're building a better way to use the internet.
Browsers are unique in that they are one of the only pieces of software that you share with your parents as well as your kids. Which makes sense, they're our doorway to the most important things - through them we socialize with loved ones, work on our passion projects, and explore our curiosities. But on their own, they don't actually do a whole lot, they're kind of just there. They don't help us organize our messy lives or make it easier to compose our ideas. We believe that the browser could do so much more - it can empower and support the amazing things we do on the internet. That's why we're building one: a browser that can help us grow, create, and stay curious.
To accomplish this lofty task, we're building a diverse team of people from different backgrounds and experiences. This isn't optional, it's crucial to our mission, as we need a wide range of perspectives to challenge our assumptions and shape our browser through a bold, creative lens. With that in mind, we especially encourage women, people of color, and others from historically marginalized groups to apply.
As a Product Engineer at The Browser Company, you'll play a key role in shaping novel AI features in Dia that redefine how users engage with the browser's core primitives - tabs, history, navigation, and more - so browsing feels effortless and work feels easier. You'll transform ambiguous goals into elegant solutions and set new standards for browser-based AI. We're looking for someone who is product-minded, deeply curious, grounded in user experience, and excited to define new ways of building AI products - ways that feel polished, intuitive, and delightful.
Product Engineering at The Browser Company is a place for creative exploration and rapid prototyping. We go from new ideas to prototypes in hand in days, and we ship new features and improvements to Dia weekly, so the impact of your work shows up fast. We listen, iterate, and keep shaping Dia to solve real problems in ways that feel simple and delightful.
Overall you will...
Lead, architect, and execute LLM-powered features to redefine core Browser primitives
Collaborate closely with Design, Product, Data, and our Leadership teams to brainstorm, prototype, and launch new features
Champion a product-minded approach, ensuring every technical decision is grounded in user impact and business value.
Sweat the small stuff to deliver high‑craft, industry‑leading, interaction‑rich user experiences which set the bar for what's possible.
Get familiar with Chromium, Swift and our development environment across Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.
Technical Projects You'll Shape With Us…
Dia integration with apps you love: Make Dia the best browser to work with your apps - GSuite, Jira, Notion, and more - so that you can get your work done faster.
Make Dia the best traditional browser: Nail the basics and common browser use cases - tabs, extensions, history, and more - while ensuring Dia is performant, reliable, and secure.
AI lens with the future of browsing: Reimagine tabs, search, history, and more with assistant‑aware behaviors that feel simple and powerful.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience developing high‑craft software products, with a background in user‑facing product development or having shipped AI features from 0‑1.
You have hands‑on experience building with LLMs, an understanding of how they work, and a genuine curiosity to go deep on the technology.
You're experienced in solving ambiguous problems and have successfully owned complex technical initiatives and projects that have had an outsized impact on a business.
You're pragmatic, motivated by nebulous problems, and excited to work in a startup environment with quick product validation cycles.
Most of our team is based in North American time zones and require that folks have 4+ hours of overlap time with team members in Eastern Time Zone.
You resonate with our company values and can continue to scale your team with these in mind.
Compensation and Benefits
Our total compensation package for full‑time employees includes base salary, equity, and benefits. The annual salary range for this role is $225,000-275,000 USD. The actual salary offered will vary based on experience level and interview performance.
Benefits: We also offer a wide range of perks and benefits designed to support you, your family and to help you engage with your local community. To learn more, visit go.atlassian.com/perksandbenefits.
Location: We're a remote‑friendly company and can hire in any country where Atlassian has a legal entity. If you live in New York (or want to visit), you're welcome to work from our beautiful office in Williamsburg.
The Browser Company is an ambitious team of close to 100 people (and growing!) who are passionate about building great products. We are a remote‑first, distributed team, with the option to work from office in Brooklyn, New York. We strongly support diversity and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.

About Agentio
Agentio is the first ad platform for creator content - we aim to transform the future of advertising. We believe that it should be as easy for brands to buy the most performant and efficient ad unit - starting with YouTube creator integrations - as buying Meta and Google ads. Before Agentio, this wasn't possible. We have just closed our $12M Series A, led by Benchmark (Nov 2024), with follow‑on investments from our Seed round co‑leads, Craft and AlleyCorp. We have raised $16.25M to date.

This isn't possible without an ad platform that gives advertisers end‑to‑end automation, which reduces weeks‑long processes to seconds.

Software Engineer, Frontend
Buildwithfern
Staff software engineer job in New York, NY
About Fern:
At Fern, we believe every software company should offer a world-class API. We're building the toolkit to make that possible. We enable customers like Square, ElevenLabs, Webflow, and Intercom to offer a best-in-class developer (DX) and agent experiences (AX).
Our team is primarily ex-Palantir and ex-founders, working together from our office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We give builders the autonomy to take ownership, the speed to move quickly, and the support to do the best work of their careers. Fern is growing more than 5x year-over-year, is at the Series A stage, and has raised over $10M from Bessemer and Y Combinator.
Why you should work here:
Experience a hyper-growth startup: Join a top-decile growth company early. You'll get firsthand exposure to how a startup scales with visibility into product, engineering, design, and go-to-market. Thinking of founding a startup someday? This is the place to learn.
High trust and autonomy: You'll have ownership over meaningful projects from day one, with the freedom to shape technical decisions and influence product direction. We trust engineers to figure out the best path forward-without micromanagement.
We move quick: Your code will ship quickly and be used by our customers within days (and sometimes hours). We prioritize shipping fast, and invest in the developer experience toolchain to make that possible.
Few meetings and bureaucracy: No bloated sprint rituals or unnecessary status updates. Just clear priorities, thoughtful async communication, and space to build.
Palantir-inspired customer obsession: Many of our engineers come from Palantir and bring the same focus on solving real customer problems. You'll work directly with users to tackle their top developer priorities and shape the product through hands‑on feedback.
What you'll do:
As a Frontend Engineer at Fern, you'll own and build core user-facing features for our developer platform-from intuitive in-browser tooling to infrastructure that powers thousands of docs sites. This role combines product thinking, system design, and customer empathy to ship fast and high-quality software.
Build user-facing features such as a WYSIWYG editor to replace Markdown files with an intuitive in-browser app or a changelog to track developer documentation changes over time. You'll oversee the architecture, design, deployment, and customer adoption of these features.
Manage our frontend infrastructure by leading the implementation of Storybook, enhancing our CI/CD pipeline, optimizing web application performance, and implementing application monitoring to ensure robust and reliable operations.
Streamline the developer experience for our monorepo by sharing and implementing your vision of an ideal internal developer experience. You will reduce build times, accelerate deploy times, and increase time-to-ship for our customers!
Be a power-user of Vercel. We host a multi-tenant Next.js app that powers hundreds of documentation websites. Check us out on Vercel's blog. We're enterprise customers of Vercel and have an active Slack channel with their team. You'll be an owner of the frontend, which open source!
Earn trust with customers. Work with developers from startups, growth-stage companies, and enterprises. Collaborate to understand their needs and define product requirements.
What we're looking for:
3+ years of software development
Strong communicator; comfortable solving technical problems with customers
TypeScript proficient with willingness to work across multiple languages

Senior Software Engineer, Forward Deployed
Invisible Technologies 4.0
Staff software engineer job in New York, NY
Senior SoftwareEngineer, Forward Deployed About Invisible
Invisible Technologies makes AI work. Our end-to-end AI platform structures messy data, automates digital workflows, deploys agentic solutions, measures outcomes, and integrates human expertise where it matters most.
Our platform cleans, labels, and structures company data so it is ready for AI. It adapts models to each business and adds human expertise when needed, the same approach we have used to improve models for more than 80% of the world's top AI companies, including Microsoft, AWS, and Cohere.
Our successes span industries, from supply chain automation for Swiss Gear to AI-enabled naval simulations with SAIC, and validating NBA draft picks for the Charlotte Hornets.
Profitable for more than half a decade, Invisible reached \$134M in revenue and ranked as the number two fastest growing AI company on the 2024 Inc. 5000. In September 2025, we raised \$100M in growth capital to accelerate our mission of making AI actually work in the enterprise and to advance our platform technology.
About The Role
As a Senior SoftwareEngineer, Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) you'll work directly with clients and our internal delivery teams to build and deploy AI-powered solutions that transform how work gets done. You'll own projects end-to-end: scoping ambiguous problems, prototyping AI workflows, and deploying scalable systems on top of our products - all while interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role: equal parts AI engineer, software builder, and technical consultant. It's perfect for someone who wants to be hands‑on with models and close to the impact they generate.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with delivery leaders to scope technical solutions to operational problems
Identify workflow optimizations through deep engagement with customer problems and work to build into a stable and scalable solution
Design and implement AI‑powered workflows using LLMs, embedding models, retrieval systems, and automation tools
Translate messy real‑world constraints (e.g., inconsistent data, latency requirements) into elegant engineering solutions
Iterate quickly based on real‑time feedback from operators and clients
Build reusable tooling and infrastructure that accelerates future deployments
What We Need
6+ years of softwareengineering experience, including significant time spent building data, ML, or backend systems
Python & ML/LLM Frameworks: Deep proficiency in Python with hands‑on experience using Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI, Pinecone, and related ecosystems
Deployment & Infrastructure: Skilled in full‑stack and API‑based deployment patterns, including Docker, FastAPI, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (GCP, AWS)
Platform Orchestration: Experienced with workflow orchestration libraries, pub/sub systems (Kafka), and schema governance
Data Management: Expertise in data governance and operations, including Unity Catalog and policy management, cluster/job orchestration, data contracts and quality enforcement, Delta/ETL pipelines, and replay processes
Strong product and system design instincts - you understand business needs and how to translate them into technical architecture
Experience building usable systems from messy data and ambiguous requirements
Excellent communication and client‑facing skills; you've led conversations with technical and non‑technical stakeholders alike
Proven experience owning projects from scoping through deployment in ambiguous, high‑stakes environments
Be willing to be on‑call for our customers when situations arise
Ability to travel roughly 25-50% of the time, sometimes short‑notice trips-primarily across North America with occasional international roll‑outs-to work directly on‑site with clients
Strong engineering background demonstrated by a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science and related fields OR equivalent professional experience

Software Engineer, SDK Generalist
Buildwithfern
Staff software engineer job in New York, NY
About Fern:
At Fern, we believe every software company should offer a world‑class API. We're building the toolkit to make that possible. We enable customers like Square, ElevenLabs, Webflow, and Intercom to offer a best‑in‑class developer (DX) and agent experiences (AX).
Our team is primarily ex‑Palantir and ex‑founders, working together from our office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We give builders the autonomy to take ownership, the speed to move quickly, and the support to do the best work of their careers. Fern is growing more than 5x year‑over‑year, is at the Series A stage, and has raised over $10M from Bessemer and Y Combinator.
Why you should work here:
Experience a hyper‑growth startup: Join a top‑decile growth company early. You'll get firsthand exposure to how a startup scales with visibility into product, engineering, design, and go‑to‑market.
Palantir‑inspired customer obsession: Many of our engineers come from Palantir and bring the same focus on solving real customer problems. You'll work directly with users to tackle their top developer priorities and shape the product through hands‑on feedback.
What you'll do:
As a SDK Generalist Engineer at Fern, you'll define what great looks like for modern SDKs-making them idiomatic, reliable, and delightful to use. You'll own parts of our open source compiler, shaping the core abstractions behind all generated SDKs.
Drive feature parity between languages. For each SDK language our generator supports, we need to support 15+ features like auto‑pagination and server‑sent events. We're constantly raising the bar to make our SDKs the best in the industry. By collaborating closely with our users-often through GitHub Issues-we're crafting tools developers rely on to build the future.
Expand SDK language selection. Our customers are asking us to support a broader range of SDK programming languages, such as Swift, Rust, and Terraform providers. Once you get a grasp of our open source compiler, you could author the next generator.
Be a polyglot. Contribute code across repositories in different programming languages. You may write code in TypeScript, Python, and Go within the same week.
What we're looking for:
3+ years of software development
Strong communicator; comfortable solving technical problems with customers
Significant experience with TypeScript and expertise in at least one other programming language
Understand the broader language ecosystem (e.g., runtimes in JS/TS, type checkers in Ruby)
Enthusiasm for shaping language communities, like Niels, our C# engineer who actively engages with the .NET team
What we're looking for - Bonus:
Experience with OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Protobuf, Conjure (Palantir), Smithy (AWS), Coral (Amazon)
Your personal GitHub profile is a deep green from commits and side projects
Benefits:
Prime office location in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Free meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
