Perform the physical restocking of customer's shelves to required inventory levels. Monitor stock levels at the customer's facility and generate replenishment orders to bring stock up to required levels. Maintain the Austin stocking area at the customer's facility in a clean, orderly, and well labeled manner. Review and recommend to the VMI Team or the VMI PIM, changes to the customer stocking level to insure excellent service levels. Identify products or services that Austin may provide to the customer and communicate that information back to Austin sales contact. Monitor dead and obsolete inventory status communicating to VMI Team or VMI PIM. Be Austin's on-site representative to all departments at the customer's facility and work to suggest improvement to the VMI program with the customer and Austin management team. Travel overnight if required. Facilitate and/or conduct quarterly inventory audits in conjunction with the VMI Team or VMI PIM Other VMI related tasks as requested.
