ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: a. Represent the State of Kansas in court at all hearings regarding criminal cases. b. Prosecute juvenile, traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases as assigned. c. Conduct negotiations with opposing counsel in accordance with office policy and procedures. e. Advise law enforcement officers on criminal law and procedures. f. Attend and represent the County Attorneys Office at multidisciplinary team meetings as assigned by the County Attorney. i. Education: Must have a law degree from an accredited school of law. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas. b.
