Responsibilities
What You'll Do
* Lead 2-3 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
* Facilitate group discussions using a "plug and play" approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
* Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
* Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
* Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.

Qualifications
* Salary range: $50,000-$70,000/ year *Based on experience, and education
* Schedule: Mon 9a-7:30p; Tues 8a-5p; Wed 8a-4:30p; Thurs 8a-8p
* Bachelor's degree.
* An active IN behavioral health license or certification including but not limited to: CADAC II - V, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LAC, LCAC-A and associate level status with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
* Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
* High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.

SubstanceAbuseCounselors are responsible for:
Conducts client interviews to review substance use disorder and treatment history.
Evaluates client response to treatment to recommend modifications to the treatment plan and assist with caseloads and development of individualized treatment plan and preparing individually appropriate goals, interventions, and necessary support.
Assists with and provides basic didactic group counseling, including psychoeducation, drug education, and family education to ensure peer support occurs.

Coordinates required services to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations in support of continued recovery.

Job Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a helping profession from an accredited college or university
Some previous experience substance use treatment/counseling and/or mental health counseling is preferred
Current Certified Addictions Professional (CAP) or Masters Certified Addictions Counselor (MCAP) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) preferred

New Hire Bonus Opportunity of $3000 Openings in 51 counties throughout Southern Indiana to include Daviess, Martin, Orange, Dubois, Crawford, Spencer, and Perry counties.
$47,028-$71,000 per year + Car (Personal Use Option Available) *
Starting rates vary based on education, experience, and licensure earned.
Therapists holding an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT will earn a base minimum of $58,000 annually (with potential increase based on experience).
Therapists holding an LSW, LMHC-a, or LMFT-a will earn a base minimum of $52,500 annually (with potential increase based on experience).
Those with temporary licenses or those who are not licensed eligible, but hold a Master's degree in a Human Service-related field and meet certain education requirements will earn a base minimum of $47,028 annually.

An individual who may be eligible for the therapist position here at IHBS will meet the qualifications of one of the following:
Master's or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board
Master's degree with a temporary permit issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board
Master's degree in related human services field having completed a minimum of 24 post-secondary semester hours in a qualifying human services degree field.
