The responsibility includes the preparation, assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the surgical intervention. JOB RELATIONSHIPS: Responsible to the OR Manager and Director of the facility. Interrelationships with co-workers, members of the medical community, patients, family and the community. Requirements: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED. Formal training as an O.R. Technician. Certification as a surgical technologist. Certification as a first assist Current CPR certification. Previous OR experience, one year.
