Support Staff The primary purpose of the Swim Instructor / Lifeguard is to supervise the safety and rescue of swimmers at the HCISD Aquatic Center. In addition, the Swim Instructor / Lifeguard prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies and provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Qualifications: Education/Certification:Must hold a current certification of the following: 1.) First Aid, 2.) You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out.
