This Highway Guardrail Installer position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures and safety guidelines. Drive long distances to deliver materials to jobsites in a timely manner. Load, unload and record cargo deliveries. Maintain paperwork. Refuel and clean vehicle. Inspect trucks and record issues. Report road incidents to the dispatcher and report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel. Follow traffic laws and follow accident procedures. Keep an activities log and log hours. Plan routes using GPS system. Keep commercial driver requirements up to date.
