Tax Help Colorado helps low- and middle-income families Coloradans to file accurate tax returns and receive every deduction and credit they are owed-often to the tune of thousands of dollars that can be used to reach their personal and family goals through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The tax preparer plays an integral role in implementing the Tax Help Colorado program and effectively supports and operates free tax preparation sites across the state of Colorado. With a strong focus on providing excellent customer service to create a trustworthy environment for the client, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community by supporting clients with tax assistance.
